   Agricultural Engineering Profile  
  University of Agricultural Science (UAS) Bangalore is a Premier Agricultural University engaged in Teaching, Research and extension activities in various field of Agriculture science. The university main campus is situated on Bangalore Hyderabad National High Way about 12 km from Bangalore city. The college of Agricultural under UAS is offering Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D degrees, in various branch Agricultural science. The department of Agricultural Engineering is under the administrative control of college of Agriculture  
  The Department of Agricultural Engineering offered B.Tech (Ag. Engg) programme of 8 duration. The dept is also offering two M.Tech. (Agri. Engg) degree programmes one each is Post Harvest process and Food Engineering and soil and water Conversation Engineering of four semesters duration. At present soil and water Conversation Engineering is temporarily suspended. In addition to this the dept. is offering 6 undergraduate courses for B.Sc (Agri.) and B.Sc (Ag Maco) programmes.

  The annul intake for B.Tech Degree programme is 25 students and for post graduate programmes is about 10-12 students. The total strength of the Dept. is about 125 students. The admissions are made as per UAS and State Government regulation.

  • As a part of the B.Tech. Curriculum students are trained in Southern Regional Farm Machinery Training and Testing institute, Anantapur (AP), Various Agro processing Industries and Regional Soil Conservation Training Center, Bellary.
