  Under Graduate :  
  B.Sc Horticulture:
The College of Horticulture, Mudigere is presently offering B.Sc.(Horticulture) degree programme for a duration of four years (eight semester). The admission policy has been clearly defined and the broadly conforms to the ICAR norms. The candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Horticulture) should have passed two years Pre-University (PUC) examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination with the combination of PCB/PCM with any subjects.  The admission of candidates is based on the reservation policies of the state government and due weightage is given to the candidates from rural areas with agricultural background.
 
  Alumni placement :  
  Our graduates have an excellent career of cent percent placement in Government Horticultural Departments /Organizations, SAUs, ICAR Institutions, Financial institutions and private organizations.

  Academic programme and curricula of B.Sc. (Hort.) UG programme :  
  An enrolled student in order to earn the Bachelor’s degree shall complete 162 prescribed credits with a minimum OGPA (Overall Grade Point Average) of 6.00 out of 10.00. The curricula shall include prescribed courses as under.  
  Research:  
  Zonal Agricultural Research Station is located in the campus has mandate of conducting research on Horticultural and Agricultural crops to address the regional problems/issues.  
  Extension:  
  Krishi Vignyana Kendra (KVK) and Extension Education Unit (EEU) are located in the campus have the mandate of conducting on campus and of campus training programmes, demonstrations, transfer of technologies, crop seminars on various horticulture and agricultural crops of regional importance for the benefit of the farmers.
