The College of Sericulture, Chintamani is presently offering B.Sc.(Sericulture) degree programme for a duration of four years (eight semester).
The admission policy has been clearly defined and the broadly conforms to the ICAR norms. The candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Sericulture) should have passed two years Pre-University (PUC)
examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination with the combination of PCMB subjects. They should have compulsorily taken Common Entrance Test conducted by the CET Cell, Government of Karnataka in the subjects of PCMB. The admission of candidates is based on the reservation policies of the state government and due weightage is given to the candidates from rural areas with agricultural background.
