Scholarships for SC/ST & Other Students

Eligibility Criteria for GOI Scholarship

Income limit- Parental income not exceeding 10 lakhs per annum
Candidates should register through @ State Scholarship Portal (SSP)
Apply through online (ssp.postmatric.gov.in) Documents to be submitted to University after applied through online
Should have Valid parent’s income certificate
Should have valid caste certificate
Students whose parental income is >10 lakhs are considered as Non-GoI are eligible for fee concessionScholarship Details

of India – Rs 1200 per month as hostel boarding
UAS(B) is providing EBL(Extra Boarding and Lodging) to meet the full mess bill for hostel boarders. (Zero mess bill). From SCSP/TSP grants
Scholarship amount will be sanctioned every year at the end of 2^nd
Students should renewal their scholarship application through online every year by using their 16 digits SSP student ID

Facilities Provided by University

Hostel facility
Zero mess bill (Only for GOI students)
SC/ST book bank facility in library (Students can get three books every semester)
Contingency amount – Rs 2000 per year (GoI & Non GoI students)
Tour allowances (For All India tour- Rs 5000)
Reservation for SC/STs in HMC (Hostel Management Committee)
50% Fee concision for all SC/ST students (parental income >10 lakhs)
Personality Development Programme will be conducted every semester through SCSP / TSP grants

Spoken English, Personality development classes, Coaching classes for UPSC, IBPS and other competitive exams

Scholarship redressal facilities to solve issues related to SSP through cell and student association
To Tackle caste discrimination a separate web page has been maintained for registering complaints
