UAS ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ (SAU) 1963 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಶಾಸಕಾಂಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
UAS-B ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಕೆಲವು SAU ಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಒಂದು ದಶಕದೊಳಗೆ, ಭಾರತವು ಹಸಿರು ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವ ಆಹಾರ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಜಿಗಿತವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಉಳಿದದ್ದು ಇತಿಹಾಸ.
1970 ಮತ್ತು 80 ರ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾರ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ವಾಂಟಮ್ ಅಧಿಕವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ UAS-B ತನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ. read more…
