The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Watershed Development Department, Government of Karnataka; the Department of Land Resources, Government of India; and The World Bank, is organizing an International Conference on Watershed Resilience: Integrating Science, Sustainability, and Society from November 26–28, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bengaluru.

This global event will bring together policymakers, scientists, researchers, development practitioners, and international experts to deliberate on transformative pathways for sustainable watershed development. The conference will feature keynote talks, thematic sessions, panel discussions, technical presentations, and knowledge exchange on innovative approaches, digital tools, climate-resilient practices, and community-driven watershed planning.

The conference aims to foster collaboration among research institutions, government agencies, academia, and development partners; showcase cutting-edge scientific advancements and field innovations, strengthen policy and implementation frameworks for resilient and sustainable watershed management.
